Over the past two decades, I have supported people across the criminal justice system, education and the charity sector; often working alongside those whose voices, experiences, or struggles have been misunderstood, dismissed or unseen.
One thing that this work has continually taught me, is that every person has a story that deserves to be heard. A story shaped by experiences, relationships, pain, hope, and survival, and every one of these story’s deserves to be met with compassion and genuine understanding. No one can be reduced to a label, a diagnosis, or difficult chapter in their life.
Alongside my professional background, I also bring lived experience into the work I do. Life has taken me down unexpected roads too, and I understand how deeply our experiences shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us. Because of this, I meet people as people first; not as projects, not as problems, and not something to be fixed.
To me, this is a deeply human process of transformation; an alchemy of becoming. Not becoming someone new, but slowly returning to the truest parts of yourself beneath the fear, conditioning, overwhelm or self doubt.
